Heritage Hull
On September 20, 2001 the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife sunk a 120-foot Coast Guard cutter on its Cape May Artificial Reef Site. This particular design of cutter was rejected by the U.S. Coast Guard, making the hull obsolete and readily available from the Federal government as surplus. Paperwork to obtain the vessel was prepared by the State Agency for Surplus Property. The Heritage Hull was docked at the Adam S. Brandt Army Reserve Base in Baltimore, Maryland. An excellent lobster and fish wreck in a hard sand bottom.
