Salt Barge

This 150 foot long test barge was sunk Friday April 9, 1993 as part of Cape May reef. The "Salt Barge" was used by the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard to carry saltwater for testing of shipboard desalination equipment in port. It was loaded with tire units before sinking.  A prime lobster area gives this site great hunting potential. 60 feet
