January

Start the season with the right training!

Thursday 25, 5 p.m. Advanced Course (Introduction to wreck) Orientation and Registration. Meet once a month through the winter to keep you active. We offer the Advanced Open Water course which includes the Intro to Wreck diving information. This course prepares the Basic Open Water diver for exploring shipwrecks off the NJ coast but goes into much greater detail and is a great course for any diver that wants to sharpen their wreck diving skills. Pool practical and tour guide mentoring on all dives.

 

February

Thursday 22, 5 p.m. Are you cold? Get the latest updates on choices for underwater thermal protection and drysuits. Make your local waters accessible and your cold-water diving safer.

 

March

Friday 8, 6 p.m. - Maritime Museum in L.B.I., “Reaching Deep” by Gene Peterson

Diving the S.S. Northern Pacific and the Big Seven, the starting propagation from recreational diving to "Wrecknical Diving" of the New Jersey Coast.

 

April

Thursday 11, 12, 13 and 14 - Special trip Maine Coastal Dive and Explore Take advantage of these cold crystal-clear waters with discoveries, and unique photographic opportunities shore diving on this rugged coast. Dry-suit Divers test out your newfound warmth and enjoy the unusual flora and fauna. A deposit is required to reserve your spot. A great opening trip for divers to prepare for the dive season starting with a cool adventure! W-E

Saturday 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 - Florida Springs Certification and Refresher Trip Four days of warm, clear water in Central Florida at Blue Grotto, Ginnie Springs, Devils Den, and Crystal River. Join Atlantic Divers this winter with underwater guide Tom Stocker Jr. N or for certification.

Thursday 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 Special Trip Nova Scotia Harbor  Drysuit divers will get an introduction to wrecks of the wrecks on the rocks of Halifax Harbor. Includes: 4 days of guided boat dives on rockage and wreckage, hotel for 3 nights, based on double occupancy. Transportation to Halifax, air fills, nitrox fill, and food are additional. Spectacular vistas and premier wrecks offer epic photographic opportunities. Call the shop for details and prerequisites. W- D-S
