ATLANTIC DIVERS Lake, Bay and River dives are open for all levels of divers to practice and refresh. Test out new equipment, practice new skills with a divemaster or instructor. Special topic will be discussed and divers will have the opportunity to get insightful information and improve their techniques with experienced leaders. Openwater certification dives are also available for any Atlantic Diver students or students with an approved referral.

Local Lake Dive 

All dives are 10 to 40 feet maximum depth.

Certified divers may practice with new equipment, drysuits, navigation, line reel use.(Tourguides and Instructor fees apply.)

Reservations required. No bubble watcher, pets, or picnics.

Entrance fees appy to all divers and persons on premises.

You may sign up on line if you have turned in medicals and class registration forms, completed eLearning, completed testing and have been fitted. You must fill out registration and all waivers required. 

  • Try on equipment for the proper fit and turn in signed medicals, waivers and pay for your dive fee. Minors must have waivers signed by a parent or guardian. You must fill out the shop lake, and boat waiver.  Deposits will temporarily hold your spot, but full payment is due one week prior to all dives. Boat fees and Student Tour guide fees must be paid at registration. Dive marked with an S or N are available for students.

  • Maintain good physical condition and get adequate sleep. Plan for a full day of diving. Bring proper clothing for the conditions, enough food and water, and boat diving measures to prevent seasickness. Discuss any physical changes with your physician to ensure you are medically fit.
  • ONCE THE DAY of DIVING STARTS: There are NO REFUNDS for INCOMPLETE DIVES, SEASICKNESS, NO SHOWS, getting lost, if you decide to leave without completing the dives, are physically or mentally ill prepared, or intoxicated. Unsafe attitudes forfeit all diving privileges. If you are late you will have to reschedule and pay for a new day of diving. Review the directions distributed during your in-person registration, consider a map and print out directions. Check traffic and weather conditions. Add a rest stop and check your vehicle for fuel, and safe operation. Set two alarms and wake up calls if needed.
  • Check over and pack your gear the night before. If you are substituting rentals, make sure all gear is fitted, has been professionally tested and properly certified.  Review any equipment needs or changes with the shop when you register. 

Equipment needs: Personal equipment which cannot be rented: Mask, Fins, Snorkel, Boots, Gloves and additionally a dive knife for ocean diving. A personally owned wetsuit is recommended for hygienic reasons. Student discounts and some rental suits may be available.May be rented or purchased for dives: 2- 80 cu. ft. tanks, main regulator with pressure and depth gauge, secondary regulator with 19 cu. ft. tank, properly fitted BCD, weights with belt 12% of your body weight.  

*Referrals are also available after all medicals, waivers, ELearning and testing is completed. NOTE: Cards are issued by gaining the NAUI instructor unless prepaid.
