Cleopatra
W - 90 Ft
The Cleopatra, a passenger freighter, sank together with the paddle wheeler, Crystal Wave, nearby in a collision on October 29, 1889. Whale oil lamps, cabin bells, pumps, portholes, deadeyes and numerous hardware pieces continue to be uncovered by divers using scooters moving the sand. Positive proof of the identity of this site was confirmed by Gary Gentile, when he recovered the barrel stencil with Atlantic Divers in the early 90s.
