Crystal Wave
W - 90 Feet
The Crystal Wave is a wooden-hulled sidewheel excursion steamer that sank on October 29, 1889 following a nighttime collision with the passenger-freighter Cleopatra. Today the remaining wreckage primarily consists of the two paddle wheel hubs, a box boiler and a walking beam steam engine that lies on its side. Much more is likely buried beneath the bottom. The site lies in 90’ of water about 20 nautical miles off Cape May, New Jersey.
