Nina

On February 6, 1910, the salvage tug Nina departed Norfolk, Virginia bound for Boston, Massachusetts. She was last sighted off the Capes of the Chesapeake during a gale. She was never heard from again. She was declared lost and struck from the Navy list on March 15, 1910, the 30 crewmen and one officer on board were listed as having died that day. In 1978, Bill Tatersall of the dive boat Selma, discovered Nina's wreck in the Atlantic Ocean 11 nautical miles off of Ocean City, Maryland.
